Hey Geode Geeks! Make a beautiful crystal geode that glows in UV light! A geode is a round rock with a crystal-filled cavity inside. Cast a plaster geode shell in a mold and fill it with a crystal-growing alum salt solution. The crystal solution contains an ultraviolet-luminous pigment that gets into the crystals as they form, resulting in a geode that glows in UV light. You will also need: AAA battery; small Phillips head screwdriver, and various other household items.
